For You I Am Thankful

Today is Thanksgiving in Canada and I’m feeling thankful for all of you. I started Sew Creative in January 2013 while I was on maternity leave with now 2 year old, Turtle. I had no idea what a huge impact my blog would have one my life, how many incredibly interesting people it would introduce to me and how it would lead me to leave my job and start my own business, West Coast Creative Company. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart.

Today I thought it would be fun to take a look back at the past year and pull out the posts that you all love the most. Here are my Top 12 most viewed posts from the past year. I hope that you will discover a new post that you love. I also included Pinterest links. Please pin if you would like to refer back to the post.

I’m also thankful that Sew Creative allowed me to reconnect with some of my family’s history in a creative way by creating baking recipes using my grandparent’s cast iron frying pan. My grandma passed away before I was born and my grandpa passed away when I was 16. Cooking with a pan that they used when they were first married has been a nice way to feel connected with my grandparents. Here are a few of the recipes that I have created using their cast iron pans.
