Sew Creative Blog's Imaging My Dream Kitchen Beautiful Aqua Blue Kitchens and Appliances to Fill Them With #TestDriveMoms
My dad is a builder who creates custom homes for a living. The houses he builds are beautiful, filled with custom elements and beautiful design work. I have a dream of one day having my dad build us a house, unfortunately we live in Canada and he is in the US making it pretty much impossible.

For years I’ve drooled over the beautiful custom kitchens that my Dad has created for his clients and pinned my own dream kitchens on Pinterest. 2 1/2 years ago we moved to a “new for us” townhouse that is 23 years old. The kitchen in our townhouse is awful. The cabinet doors are crooked, the counters are chipped and one day very soon I vow to rip it all out and replace it.

Today I thought I would share with you some of my dream kitchens that I’ve pinned over the years on Pinterest and get you all to weigh in on which is your favourite! I adore aqua blue and vow to have it in my dream kitchen, so advanced apologies for all the aqua you will be seeing.

Dream Kitchen 1:

Aqua Blue Wood Kitchen
Aqua Blue Wood Kitchen– The exposed wood beams, the huge kitchen island, the antique lights hanging from the ceiling, the beautiful aqua blue shelves and cabinets under the island with vintage hardware and the brightness coming from the windows off camera. There are so many things about this kitchen that I adore.

Dream Kitchen 2:

Gypsy Kitchen
Aqua Blue Gypsy Kitchen  I love the big, wood trimmed window at the end of this kitchen. I can imagine myself standing at the window, looking into a big, back yard. I also (obviously) love the aqua stained cabinets and the stainless steel appliances. I think the little island is so cute and can imagine have “cooking classes” with my kiddos there.

Dream Kitchen 3:

Tater Tots And Jellow Aqua Kitchen
Tatertots & Jello Aqua and White Kitchen– I have a feeling that when we remodel our kitchen, The Hubs won’t let me go aqua crazy. I love that this kitchen has the clean and crisp whites and then the aqua blue accents. The aqua blue pantry door is my favorite. I also love the little breakfast nook and can imagine many family meals spent there.

Dream Kitchen 4:

Aqua Blue Subway Glass Kitchen
Aqua Blue Subway Glass Kitchen– This kitchen is so crisp and pretty looking. It reminds me of living by the ocean.  I love the aqua blue subway tiles, the white marble countertops and the aqua island which looks like it has tons of storage. The peekaboo window for the cookbooks is so cute!

No kitchen is complete without really great appliances to go in it!

I love the look of stainless steel but it smudges so easily… unless you get the Frigidaire Gallery line of appliances which has smudge proof stainless steel!

Here are the appliances that I would pick for my dream kitchen!

Frigidaire Gallery 27.8 Cu. Ft. French Door Refrigerator

Fridge- Frigidaire Gallery 27.8 Cu. Ft. French Door Refrigerator I have always wanted an ice machine on my fridge. I love the smudge proof stainless steel and the ease in which this fridge can be reconfigured.

Frigidaire Gallery 30'' Freestanding Induction Range

Range- Frigidaire Gallery 30” Freestanding Induction Range My parents have an induction range and they have me convinced that our next stove will be induction. They love how fast it heats (it can bring water to a boil in 2 minutes!), how easy it is to clean and the built in temperature probe which allows you to set the desired finished temperature for meat that you are cooking and alerts you when that temperature has been reached!

Frigidaire Gallery 24'' Built-In Dishwasher

Dishwasher- Frigidaire Orbit Clean Dishwasher This is the one piece of our kitchen that we won’t have to replace when we remodel our kitchen, because we already own it! We love this dishwasher so much. First of all because it’s smudge proof! Second because of the orbit clean technology that gets your dishes clean every single time. Third because of the quick wash cycle which makes it possible to get clean (and dry!!!) dishes in just 30 minutes. Fourth because of the adjustable upper rack which allows you to change the height of your rack depending on the height of what you are washing. Really I could go on and on about how great this dishwasher is.

What do you think of my dream kitchens? Do any of them call your name? What appliances would you have in your dream kitchen?

Disclosure: I am part of the Frigidaire Canada Ambassador program with Mom Central Canada and I receive special perks as part of my affiliation with this group. The opinions on this blog are my own.

  1. Nice post with great photos. Indeed these are great kitchen inspiration.. By adding a little touches and upgrading can make every kitchen stand out. There are plenty of cheap kitchen items that could provide a bit of extravagance to a regular kitchen that won’t break the bank.
