Paint Chip Easter Egg Garland TutorialI just finished up making my Paint Chip Easter Egg Garlands and wanted to share in case any of you have plans to visit the paint aisle of your local hardware store this weekend.

At Valentine’s Day I shared with you an adorable paint chip heart garland from Grace and Light Studio. As I was making it I kept thinking how perfect the paint chips would be to make multi color Easter egg shapes from. A couple of weeks ago I went and grabbed a few more paint chips and today I got to work.

This is a fabulous project to make with kids!

What You Will Need:

-Paint chips (I made garlands for 2 windows, I cut two eggs per card and had 24 eggs on each garland so I used 24 paint chip cards for 2 garlands.)

-Pencil or marker

-Scissors

-Embroidery thread

-Needle

-Template for your egg (I searched Easter Egg Template on Google and then lightly traced the egg I found on a piece of paper with a marker on my computer screen… shhh… don’t tell The Hubs. This was the Easter Egg I used.)

Step 6: Space your eggs out.

Step 7: Hang the eggs up!

Voila! A quick and easy, colorful Easter decoration!

There are so many possibilities for paint chip garlands! I actually hung the Easter egg one in the same place that I hung this heart garland but the weather is dark and gloomy right now and I can’t get a good picture (not that this one is much better.)
